Clear.
Even.
Bright.
Lift away sun damage. Soften redness. Even out your tone. Broad-spectrum IPL light targets pigment and vascular concerns at the surface of your skin — clearing brown spots, taming rosacea, fading sun damage. Visible results in days, not weeks.
Skin damage from sun, age, and weather accumulates silently. IPL pulls it back to the surface — and clears it away.
Your skin remembers everything. Even what you've forgotten.
Every UV exposure from childhood onward leaves a mark — most of it invisible, banking in melanocytes beneath your skin's surface. Decades later, the deposits surface as brown spots, freckles, age marks, and uneven tone. IPL works on this hidden record: pulses of broad-spectrum light pass through your skin's surface and target specific chromophores beneath — melanin in pigmented spots, hemoglobin in vessels. Selective photothermolysis.
Two chromophores. One technology.
Sun & Age SpotsLentigines
Cumulative UV deposits. The most responsive concern — clearing after 2-3 sessions.
Uneven ToneMottled Pigment
The patchy look that develops over years. IPL evens it across the face in a single pass.
FrecklesEphelides
IPL can lighten or clear freckles depending on contrast with surrounding skin tone.
Mild MelasmaHormonal Pigment
Possible in select cases. Specialist assessment required — proceeded cautiously.
Broken CapillariesTelangiectasia
Visible vessels around the nose, cheeks, and chin. IPL coagulates them — the body clears them away naturally over the following weeks.
Redness & RosaceaVascular Component
Persistent flushing or pink undertones. IPL calms reactivity and reduces redness over a treatment course.
Your skin, over four months.
IPL is not a one-and-done treatment. Each session targets what's currently visible — but pigment lurks at multiple depths and surfaces over time. Here is what actually happens.
Immediate response.
20-30 min in-room. Targeted spots immediately darken — the "coffee grounds" effect. Mild warmth, no real pain.
Spots flake away.
Treated pigment surfaces and naturally flakes off. No peeling, no medication. Skin visibly clearer.
Layers clear.
Sessions every 4 weeks. Each pass surfaces deeper pigment. Tone evens, redness softens, capillaries fade.
Course complete.
Most are satisfied at 3-5 sessions. Maintenance every 6-12 months — provided you protect with daily SPF.
Choose your course.
IPL works incrementally — each session compounds. Clinical evidence is clear: courses of three to five sessions deliver dramatically better, more even outcomes than single treatments. Each course includes a complimentary skin assessment and post-treatment SPF guidance.

Single sessions can show meaningful results for isolated concerns — but for full-face pigment and vascular work, courses of three to five sessions deliver dramatically better, longer-lasting outcomes.
IPL clears the canvas. V-Shape sculpts the structure.
Many clients pair IPL with our V-Shape Facial — IPL addresses tone and clarity (the surface), V-Shape addresses contour and tightness (the architecture). Together they cover both halves of how skin ages.
Three women. The right treatment for each.
Pregnancy left a mask. Sun made it permanent.
Melasma showed up during her second pregnancy. She thought it would fade. It didn't — and summer made it worse. Tinted SPF every day, but the patches still show through. She wants her even skin back.
Summers at the Cape. Now showing.
Beach years in her twenties without sunscreen. Freckles she once thought charming have multiplied into brown spots, and her tone — once even — now reads patchy under foundation. She has a canvas she wants back.
Rosacea is real. And exhausting.
Started with a wine-glass flush at thirty. Now it's wind, exercise, hot rooms, a strong emotion. The redness has become its own diagnosis — and the more it appears, the more permanent the underlying capillaries become.
The honest FAQ.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe IPL as a quick snap of warmth — similar to a light rubber-band flick — with built-in sapphire cooling between pulses. Well-tolerated; no anesthesia or numbing cream needed.
Is there any downtime?
Minimal. 24-48 hours of mild flushing, easily covered with light makeup. Pigmented spots darken before naturally flaking off over 5-7 days. No peeling, no medication, no missed work.
How many sessions will I need?
Three to five sessions spaced four weeks apart is standard. Minor spots may clear in two sessions; established rosacea may need five or six. We map it at your free consultation.
How long do results last?
Treated spots don't return — they're gone. But new pigment forms from continued UV exposure. With daily SPF, results last 6-12 months between maintenance sessions.
When is the best season for IPL?
Fall and winter are ideal. Skin is more sun-sensitive for 4-6 weeks after each session. We can treat year-round, but late autumn through early spring is optimal.
Am I a good candidate?
IPL works best on fair to medium skin tones (Fitzpatrick I-III). Cautiously performed on type IV. For darker skin (V-VI), alternative laser technologies are safer.
Will I still look like me?
Yes — just clearer. IPL doesn't add anything; it removes accumulated damage. You'll look brighter, more even-toned. Like yourself, just less weathered.
Can I combine IPL with other treatments?
Yes. IPL pairs particularly well with our V-Shape Facial — IPL addresses tone and clarity, V-Shape addresses contour. Many clients alternate them across visits.
Your skin, brightened.
Your tone, evened.
Every face is different — different goals, different skin, different histories. Before recommending anything, we sit down with you, assess your skin, and show you honestly what IPL can do. Consultations are always complimentary.
